Oxford Country Naturals

a high concentration of natural and rare essential oils and provide
a clean and even-burning flame and a long-lasting fragrance derived
from rare, natural extracts. The wax of each candle was specifically
refined to suit and complement each individual fragrance. The
wick is made of only pure cotton, and is lead-free.

Directions
for use: Do not trim wick before the initial burn. For
best results: The first time you light the candle, only burn
for 2 hours. After extinguishing flame, ensure the wick is central
and upright. Before each burn thereafter, trim the wick to a
1/4 inch and do not burn for more than 3 hours at a time. Estimated
burning time: 20-25 hours. This long burning time is made possible
due to these candles being made with rare essential oils and
100% natural ingredients.

'n' Apple Spread
Bring
this delicious and healthy appetizer to that special
Fall party!
1-pkg.
(8 oz.) light cream cheese, softened (or Neufchatel)
1/2
c. nonfat mayonnaise dressing
1/2
c. (2 oz.) shredded mild reduced fat cheddar cheese
1/2
c. finely chopped Braeburn (or other green, tart) apple
Blend
together cream cheese and mayo. Stir in cheddar cheese
and apple; refrigerate. Try this on a toasted bagel
for a special treat.

Ham
and Apple Pie
Two
Fall Favorites-Apples & Ham brought together in
perfect harmony...
Pastry
for 9-inch two-crust pie
1/4
c. sugar
1/4
c. light brown sugar-packed
1/4
c. all-purpose flour
1/4
tsp. nutmeg
1/4
tsp. allspice
1/2
tsp. cinnamon
Dash
salt

tbsp. butter or margarine

c. thinly sliced, peeled apples (Granny Smith or other
green, tart)

slices ham (1/4 to 12 inch thick)

c. Dijon mustard
Heat
oven to 425 degrees. Prepare pastry. Stir together sugars,
flour, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon & salt; mix with
apples. Turn half mixture into pie shell. Dot with half
the butter. Take half of the ham slices and spread half
of the mustard on the top of each slice. Place on top
of apples and repeat layers.
Cover
with top crust which has slits cut into it. Seal &
flute. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until crust is brown.
If pie edges brown too much, cover edge with 2- to 3-
inch strips of aluminum foil. Serves 4.

Sour
Cream Corn Bread
A
delicious accompaniment to a bowl of hearty soup!

1/4 c. self-rising corn meal

tsp. baking powder

tsp. salt

c. cream-style corn
1
c. sour cream
2
eggs
1/2
c. vegetable oil
Preheat
oven to 400 degrees. Combine corn meal, baking powder,
and salt. Separately, combine corn, sour cream, eggs,
and corn oil in a large bowl. Mix well. Add dry mixture
to bowl and stir. Pour into a buttered bread pan and
bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
